Financial Achievements during the year 2011-2012 ending 11/2012(Rs.in lacs)

159000 students are anticipated to be covered under Scholarship Scheme (Ist primary-12th class) during the year 2012-13 as per the rates envisaged in Govt. Order No: 382-SWD of 2008 dated 29-12-2008. An amount of Rs. 1357.00 is being incurred for the coverage of these students. Upto November 2012 an amount of Rs.678.00 lacs has been incurred for the coverage of 79000 students.

1500 students are anticipated to be covered under Post- Matric Scholarship Scheme during the financial year 2012-13. An amount of Rs.120.00 lacs is being incurred for the coverage of 1500 students under this scheme.

Three new Girls Pahari Hostels at Rajouri, Poonch and Kupwara with intake capacity of 100 inmates in each hostel has been sanctioned in the month of October 2012.These hostels will be established in rented accommodation for which an amount of Rs.15.00 lacs has been been provided by the Planning Department.

The intake capacity of Boys Pahari hostels Jammu,Rajouri and Poonch has been raised by 50 inmates in each hostel during the month of October 2012 thereby raising the total intake capacity of six boys Pahari hostels from 400 to 550 inmates.An amount of Rs.41.40 lacs has been provided by the Planning Department for meeting the requirement of enhanced inmate capacity.

An amount of Rs.178.83 lacs is being incurred during the current financial year 2012-13 on account of free diet charges,uniform/clothing,books/stationery etc. in respect of 850 inmates (Boys inmates 550 and Girls inmates 300) . Upto November 2012 an amount of Rs.52.62 lacs has been incurred for this purpose.

159000 students are anticipated to be covered under Scholarship Scheme (Ist primary-12th class) during the year 2012-13 as per the rates envisaged in Govt. Order No: 382-SWD of 2008 dated 29-12-2008. An amount of Rs. 1357.00 is being incurred for the coverage of these students. Upto Feberuary, 2013 an amount of Rs.694.00 lacs has been incurred for the coverage of 81,000 students.

An amount of Rs.136.40 lacs is being incurred during the current financial year 2012-13 on account of free diet charges,uniform/clothing,books/stationery etc. in respect of 550 inmates, upto Feberuary, 2013 an amount of Rs.94.02 lacs has been incurred for this purpose.
