Major Achievements during 2009-2010 ending 03/2010

107500 students covered under Pre-matric scholarship scheme consisting of Boys 57265 and Girls 50235. An amount of Rs.975.00 lacs incurred for the coverage of these students.

343 students covered under Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme. Out of these 240 students covered in Jammu province and 103 students in Kashmir province. An amount of Rs. 20.00 lacs incurred under this scheme (Jammu Province Rs.12.00 lacs and Kashmir Province Rs.8.00 lacs).

Boys Pahari Hostel Jammu with intake capacity of 50 inmates from 6th class to P.G.Level established in the month of April, 2009. Work for the construction of the hostel building is under progress at Bantalab Jammu at an estimated cost of Rs.330.00 lacs. Land for the construction of the hostel building measuring 17 Kanals stands acquired from the Jammu Development Authority at the cost of Rs. 119.00 lacs.

Boys Pahari Hostel building at Kupwara completed at an estimated cost of Rs.92.78 lacs.
