» The Government of Jammu and Kashmir constituted Advisory Board for the Development of Pahari Speaking People in the year 1989 in light of cabinet decision No:227 dated 20-10-1989 vide Govt. Order No: 1439-GAD of 1989 dated 26-10-1989 with his Excellency the Governor/Hon'ble .

» 168981 students covered under Scholarship Scheme (Ist primary-12th class) during the year 2013-14 as per the rates envisaged in Govt. Order No: 382-SWD of 2008 dated 29-12-2008. An amount of Rs. 1366.00 Lacs incurred for the coverage of these students.

Pahari Hostels

Government Boys Pahari Hostel, Jammu situated at Keran, Bantalab was made functional in new building. The project was inaugurated by Dr Farooq Ahmed Lone(IAS), Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department on 31-03-2019 in august presence of Sh Kartar Singh(KAS), Secretary, State Advisory Board for Developemnt of Pahari speaking people.Read More....
